Day two of the Boodles May Festival celebrates Ladies Day and under glorious blue skies there was plenty of colour both on and off the track.
On the track, the highlight of the card was the Ladbrokes Ormonde Stakes, which was won by Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien, with his colt, Illinois. The win provided O'Brien with his fourth appearance in the Winners Enclosure this week, having won the other major race of the day, the Boodles Raindance Dee Stakes with Mount Kilimanjaro, earlier on the card.
Away from the racing action, the Ladies (and gents!) flocked to the Roodee in their thousands. The annual Best Dressed Competition proved to be as competitive as ever and was won by Melissa who wore a blue and ivory floral dress on her first time visiting the racecourse.
The third and final day of the Boodles May Festival takes place tomorrow, where final remaining County Concourse tickets are still available to purchase but will sell out soon. There's limited availability remaining in Tattersalls and Roodee so make sure to book before you arrive to avoid disappointment.
