This weekend at HPC

After a very wet week the forecast is clear for the weekend. The Summer Tournament schedule has been re-adjusted with the final moved to next weekend. This Sunday will play host to Summer Tournament group games along with a full programme of polo.

Last Week at HPC

RAF vs HPC

One the great annual match-ups at HPC is the RAF match. An all amateur line-up from HPC players took on the seasoned RAF team. HPC had luck in their hands with a strong performance in the first half. Unlucky for the RAF who had several close misses. In the second half the RAF team changed their game plan and through some excellent marking and teamwork pulled back several goals. The HPC lead from the first half was too strong though and by the final bell the home team were still ahead. We hope to see the RAF back again at the club next summer.

Vendetta vs Tigerstream

The Vendetta were out again on Sunday this time taking on the Tigerstream team. Both teams were made up of club players. Vendetta were joined by club player Olivia Shea. The game turned out to be a great display of polo with end to end open play. Vendetta emerged victorious after a very entertaining match.
