The second match of the HH President of UAE Polo Cup has been rescheduled for tomorrow. Please find below a press notice:
Also please find attached the updated schedule of games, the teams and players.
Kindly note there have been two change of players to the lineup for the Ghantoot Land Rover and Habtoor team. Ghantoot Land Rover, team member Nasser Al Dhaheri has been replaced by Ahmed Al Neaimi due to an injury and Hamza Mawaz has replaced Matias Olano for the Habtoor Team.Gold Cup Champions To Clash With Jordanian Newcomers
HH President of the UAE Polo Cup hosts second match of two-week tournament
Abu Dhabi, 18th March: The re-scheduled second match of the HH President of the UAE Polo Cup will get underway tomorrow (Monday) when the tournament’s form team, Habtoor meet Sumaya from Jordan.
The HH President of the UAE Polo Cup is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club and held at Abu Dhabi’s Royal venue between March 18 and March 30 and is the largest polo tournament in the Middle East.
Sumaya represent an as-yet unknown quantity while Habtoor are a force to be reckoned with. During their recent run through the Gold Cup they were beaten only by Ghantoot and even then by a solitary goal. There is every indication that they will be one of the main teams to beat over the next two weeks.
The first round of HH President of the UAE Polo Cup, presented by ADCB will be played today at 4.30pm between defending team Ghantoot Land Rover and Abu Dhabi Polo team. The results will be sent out directly after the game.TEAMS
