THE PASSING OF BOB DANIELSPatron of Pony Express, one of the most renowned in the USMarch 26, 2016 Bob Daniels, one of the most important patrons in the United States, sadly passed away after taking a fall while playing polo in Wellington.During his career, Bob had the opportunity to play with some of the world's best players; among others, Pony Express featured the skills of the Heguy brothers, Bautista and the late Gonzalo. One of Gonzalo's most representative mares, the beautiful Silverada, was owned by Daniels. Silverada was presented with the Lady Susan Townley Award in the 1996 final of the Argentine Polo Open.Daniels won the CV Whitney Cup and the East Coast Open and was US Open runner-up, as well.
